ETHERNET ADAPTER MISSING

so the day after yesterday ,ethernet adapter got missing (on his own) after I restart the VM tried to
add new “network adapter” from the VM-WARE settings , change from NAT to bridge, change all the configuration , implement all the suggestions shared on the forums but that wasn’t work
open terminal into this directory /etc/network/ and open interface
after this add
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
just restart the machine or kali linux
