Pakistan Politicians

Pakistan has federal parliamentary democracy, having 4 provinces: punjab, sindh balochistan, and khyber Pakhtunkhwa and three territories: Islamabad, Gilgit baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.

all four provinces along with Gilgit baltistan have provincial government where Islamabad is a federal capital territory residing National Government and Azad Kashmir is self governing state having its own Prime Minister and President.

Gilgit Baltistan is autonomous territory where Azad Kashmir is Self governing State under Pakistan

Provincial Government:

have one CM Chief Minister and various elected members named as MPA (Member of Provincial Assembly) from different constituency with in the province residing in Provincial Assembly . Chief minister is elected by MPA’s vote.

Chief minister have the authority to select MPAs from the Provincial Assembly and allocate them various departments. these selected MPAs are now have access to CM’s Cabinet and are called Provincial ministers.

this applies on 4 provinces and 1 territory Gilgit Baltistan.

National Government (Act 1973):

it have President as ceremonial head, PM Prime minster as head of the government and various elected members from all 4 provinces and 1 territory gilgit baltistan termed as MNA Member of National Assembly.

These MNA select PM unanimously.

National ministers are elected by PM by for his cabinet.

according to 1973 act the federal legislature have two houses

  1. National Assembly
  2. Senate

Where Azad Kashmir have their PM and President along with their own laws and acts.

the facts mentioned above are necessary to have vague concept of Pakistan’s politics structure.

apart from this you may have heard about Imran khan, Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, Maryam Nawaz, and Bilawal Zardari.

as the current PM of Pakistan is Imran Khan. we are gonna start the search party.

so as we have mentioned the PM elected through national assembly thus search for national assembly pakistan website

explore through “complete MNA list” so after surfing for few second we got him

but this information isnt of any use for us and easily available and knew by masses.

now what? nah there isnt anything need to worry

there is a NGO named FAFEN or Free and Fair Election Network they have a initiative named “Open parliament” with which one can have access to their constituency elected parliamentarian both in national and provincial assembles

  1. owned cars number plate
  2. owned lands location with area
  3. bank accounts number and bank details

as in “imran khan record” there is NIC and NTN mentioned FBR have a portal named “Taxpayer Profile Inquiry” with which one can check the active tax payer status as the name specifies.

but as he is politics so FBR also annually published the details of tax paid by politicians

its in Taxpayers’ Directory named as Parliamentarians’ Tax Directory.
